Individual coaching
A personal or professional choice can keep occupying your mind even after you have thought about it at length. In individual coaching, we explore what is weighing on the decision and look for a first step that helps you understand how to move forward.
A job offer interests you, but you have doubts about what it would mean for your life. Or your personal commitments have changed, and you struggle to make room for something that matters more to you now.
You can also come with a less clearly defined question: you notice that you keep following priorities set long ago and want to understand which ones still make sense for you.
We start with what you are experiencing. In our first conversation, we explore what you would like to change and what makes it difficult, taking account of your responsibilities and the limits of your situation. From there, we agree on what to work on.
In each session, we return to the issue we have chosen to address. I help you distinguish facts from interpretations and recognise the expectations weighing on your choice. We keep in mind what matters to you and the resources you have available.
If you say “asking for something different means disappointing someone”, we can pause over that sentence: what is it based on, and what would you need to check?
We can then identify something within your reach to try, such as preparing for a conversation you have been putting off, or organising a commitment differently for a few days. Together, we clarify what you want to learn from that attempt.
At the next session, we revisit what happened, including when the result differs from what you hoped for. What you observed may change how you view a possibility and help you decide how to proceed. Where needed, we also review the programme’s objective together.
Before we begin, an introductory conversation helps us understand whether coaching suits your situation and whether we can work well together.
We agree on the objective and how often to meet, allowing time between appointments to try things out in everyday life.
During the programme, we review what is changing and how useful the work is. At the end, we revisit the agreed objective and what you have tried, to understand which steps you want to take forward.
The questions I offer may challenge how you are interpreting the situation. If I notice a gap between what you want and the choices you are making, we can pause there and explore what lies behind it.
You can also disagree with an observation I make: I want to understand what does not feel right to you and discuss it with you. You decide what to do with what emerges.
I arrived in Switzerland from Brazil when I was nine. Adapting helped me learn a new language and find my place. As an adult, I had to stop and ask how far the life I was building reflected what I wanted.
This experience has made me a more attentive listener. When someone tells me about a change, I want to understand what it means in their life and what possibilities they see for themselves.

You can begin with a question that is still open, or a feeling that something needs to change. In our first conversation, we define the issue to work on together.
Individual coaching is open to anyone. There is also a programme of coaching for women, for women, with particular attention to the roles and expectations that may influence their choices.
Yes. We can work on a professional decision or how you are navigating a change of role. If technical analysis or organisational intervention is needed, specialist advice is required.
No. Coaching works on the objectives and choices you want to address; it does not include psychological or medical diagnosis or treatment. If this kind of need emerges, you should consult a qualified professional.
The programme consists of six individual 60-minute sessions. We agree on how often to meet before starting, according to the situation we will be working on.
Write me a few lines about what you would like to change or achieve. During the introductory conversation, we can get to know each other and understand whether this programme is right for you.
I help you find clarity and choose your next step.
